Shopify has announced one of its biggest updates:  Online Store 2.0. With Online Store 2.0 themes, you can easily place the Price alert Button on your product pages using app blocks. 

In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to integrate the Button into your 2.0 store.

Note: 

1. If you have problems with adding the button or want to change the way the button looks or for any other request please raise a support ticket here. We will take care of it.

2. If you are already an existing user and displaying the button on the site using the integration code below:

then you need to remove the integration code & empty the contents of the watchlyst.liquid file from the snippets folder. Also, you need to remove the code from the layout/theme.liquid file present before </body> tag.

Steps

1. Open your Shopify admin. 

2. Go to Online Store >Themes > click Customize.

3. Select a product template. 

4. Next, click Add Block from the left sidebar and select Watchlyst App block under Apps.

5. Drag and drop the block to the location you want to display the button. We recommend placing it between the Buy Buttons and Description. 

6. The above position of the button is inline. This can be changed/stylized via the Settings in the dashboard.

7. Hit the save button.

8. The Watchlyst Alert button will be visible on the product pages for all the products.
